Natural Groceres to Enter San Antonio Market

November 19, 2015

Over the past few years San Antonio has seen an increase in the amount of health food stores. With the additions of Whole Food’s Market, Sprouts Farmer’s Market, Traders Joe’s Alamo City and Blue Star Provisions residents have a few options when it comes to where they get their groceries.

The newest to join the San Antonio market will be Colorado based company, Natural Grocers. Natural Groceries has over 100—stores in the United States. They offer a wide variety of products in their stores but also ban many of the products you may see in other grocery stores. Natural Grocers doesn’t stock any foods that are GMO (genetically modified organism), non-organic produce, cloned animals or dairy from cloned animals, bleached flours or artificial sweeteners to name a few items you won’t find at Natural Grocers.

The first San Antonio location will be located on NW Military Highway and employ an estimated 25 employees but with no current opening date given.
