Move Forward and Leave the Past, in the Past

There is an excitement in the air surrounding the New Year as we enter into 2021. To make this year the best yet, it is imperative to remain positive no matter the circumstances and take on a fresh perspective. But first, in order to attain any of your New Year’s Resolutions, you must set actionable steps by which to achieve those goals.

Keep moving forward and make strategic moves now so that you come out on top at the end of this year.

Maintain Momentum

Strength and conditioning coaches will tell you that, it is in resistance where muscle is built. It takes grit to stand firm when the opposition is pushing against you, but don’t give into it. Rather, look ahead at what obstacles may present themselves and create a game plan so that you do not feel crushed and overwhelmed when under pressure. Keep moving forward and make strategic moves now so that you come out on top at the end of this year.

Identify your year-end goals, key flux areas where variability is high, and craft a game plan for how to best navigate in such scenarios. Keep your eyes on what’s ahead of you and plan accordingly. This is how successful people become and remain successful. Being closeminded and nearsighted is what will cripple you from expanding your horizon. You are both your greatest asset and your greatest adversary. Don’t fight with yourself, fight for yourself.

Develop Flexibility

Flexibility is an imperative part of your daily and weekly routines. Muscles need to be stretched to stimulate the production of new healthy cells and allow you range of motion in daily life activities, such as walking, squatting, lifting & twisting. Otherwise your muscles become short and tight and hinder you as time goes on.

Are you actively connecting with people in overlapping social circles to expand your most likely source of income via referrals? Don’t allow your network to grow tight and inflexible. Discover what areas you are needing to grow in, in your office, network, etc. and work on them. Each week choose an area that is needing more attention and focus in on it.

By the end of 2021 you’ll be surprised just how far you’ve gone and how much you’ve achieved. Setting both yourself and your business up for future success!

Okay, what does that look like? Here are some actionable steps that you can take.

1. Connection: humans need human contact to thrive, so use your natural interests to create points of connection with others and at the same time expand your reach. As your relationships grow, so will your business.

2. Integrity: being a person of integrity is a very valuable attribute that others around you will recognize and appreciate the more they get to know you. Continue to be true to who you are and hold fast to your moral standards. By treating others with integrity and respect you will see a noticeable shift in your self-respect and in how others respond to you.

3. Purpose: being purposeful with your time by creating a block segmentation schedule for your daily and weekly agenda may help you to attack areas of weakness and gradually build upon where it is most needed.

We are always growing and always changing. As a result, so is our community and business structure. Especially in the digital age! Luckily there is a wealth of information out there that can help you to achieve you goals. That being said maintain your positive outlook and approach to life regardless of the obstacles that you may face. Grow in your ability to be flexible and see where this year will take you, you will be surprised at the success you’ll see in yourself and outside of yourself as a result.

Let’s create a fresh, positive outlook for 2021!
