Texas Gets Recognized For Clean Energy Efforts

Environment Entrepreneurs rank Texas Number 8 in the 2013 Second Quarter Clean Energy/ Clean Transportation Jobs Report. This quarterly report spot lights and ranks the top ten states creating jobs related to the growing trend of clean energy. They reported over 38,600 clean energy jobs were announced to various projects this quarter in at least 27 states. Texas is responsible for 2,000 of these jobs. Since 2011 the wind industry in Texas alone has increased by 2,000 jobs and Texas A&M University’s Center for Solar Energy appears to be aiming for similar high numbers of jobs.
