Every year more and more business seem to be putting down roots in the Alamo city. Based on a recent Smartasset Study San Antonio is also the best city to hold a conference.
Using the average number of hotels, average hotel room rate, each city’s violent crime rate, average restaurant cost per meal and distance from the airports to city center, Smartasset compiled a list of The Best Cities for Conferences, with San Antonio is the number 1 spot.
Not only does San Antonio offer lower than average meal prices than other cities at an average of $17.50, Illinois averaging $32.50 and New York a whopping $37.50 per meal cost, but the city itself offers many options for activities outside of work. People want to go to cities that will keep them entertained when their workshops end. With the amazing cuisine, San Antonio landmarks such as The Alamo and Riverwalk, conference attendees will have plenty to do and eat.
Other Texas cities on the list include; Austin at number 6, Houston at number 13, Irving at number 19.
