San Antonio Listed as a Best Performing City

San Antonio- New Braunfels ranks #10 on the Milken Institutes list of Top 25 Best-Performing Large Cities 2014.

Up two spots from #12 on 2013’s list, the gain can be attributed to the cities constant job and wage growth. A major asset for the area was the Eagle Ford shale and the jobs it has created for the area. Also a strong center for medical and military, San Antonio’s wage has grown 19% faster, than the nation’s average as a whole.

San Antonio was one of the 7 Texas cities to be listed in the top 25, including;

#2 Austin- Round  Rock

#7 Houston- Sugar Land- Baytown

#8 Fort Worth- Arlington

#18 Laredo

#20 Lubbock
