Founder Ben Davis along with co-owner, and former Dallas Cowboys running back, Emmitt Smith are bringing The Gents Place, a grooming concept born out of the recession, to San Antonio within the next year. The Gents Place has four locations across Dallas at present, and can be thought of as a speakeasy meets barber shop, a-la country club providing ultra-premium shaves, waxing, as well as hand and foot “repairs” …not manicures. In March, The Gents Place joined Massage Heights, a proven and growing massage franchise, under holding company The Elevated Brands. By utilizing Elevated’s demographic market analysis, in conjunction with CEO Cynthia Lee’s acumen, and by leveraging Height’s franchise experience The Gents Place is slated for 150 locations over the next five years. Their confidence is inspired by their ability to serve returning “sophisticated customers”, who are aware that representing one’s image well in a growingly competitive environment is vital. In addition to having a core base of notable professionals, and aspirational individuals, for which they provide quarterly networking events and mixers, The Gents Place enjoys a reportedly 1.1-1.5 million dollars in annual gross revenue from each of their 2,500 square foot locations.
